Mike and Deirdre Hall, who run the pub, very obviously do so with a great deal of care and attention to the most important fact that the customer should always be happy to make it a favourite meeting place. This philosophy works well here for everyone from the local O.A.P's who have their coffee mornings every second Thursday ('phone to get your alternatives right!) to the regular Darts players who have their own end of the bar area which also has a fruit machine.
